Gail C. Trochinski

    Gail C. Trochinski, age 59, of Berlin, won her battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, and now lives eternally with the Lord.

     

    She was born September 30, 1954 in Portage, WI, the daughter of Karl A. and Margaret R. Jepson Knaack. She attended St. John Lutheran School and was a 1972 graduate of Berlin High School.

     

    On September 9, 1972, she was united in marriage to Thomas G. Trochinski. Gail worked for many

    years at Kolpin Manufacturing CO in Berlin, and since 1991 has been employed at 4imprint.

     

    Gail enjoyed gardening and traveling, South Carolina being her favorite destination. She enjoyed

    boating, especially on Green Lake to see the sunsets. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time

    with family and friends. Gail was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.

     

    She is survived by her husband, Tom; two daughters, Cori (John) Minch and Ami (Michael) Bair; two

    grandchildren, Tristen and Merrik Bair; her Mother, Margaret Ceman; sisters, Linda Zimmerman,

    Kathryn (Vernon) Krause, Karen Hesprich & “Beeper”; brothers, Kenneth (Tracy) Knaack and Kurtis

    Knaack; sister-in-law, Mary Knaack; and brother-in-law, Jerome “Bugs” DeBruin; sisters and brothers-
    in-law, Sharon (John) Burk, Richard (Judy) Trochinski, Michael (Cookie) Trochinski, Kathy (Larry)

    Hershberger, Karen (Ward) Newell, Kenneth (Sandy) Trochinski, Susan (Terry) Elendt, Leon (Barb)

    Trochinski, Jeff (Julie) Trochinski, Deborah (Jim) Paugels, Mary Borland, Rosie (Shawn) Kowalewski,

    Lawrence Trochinski, Daniel (Donna) Trochinski, Dennis (Debbie) Trochinski; many nieces, nephews

    and special friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her father; step-father, Richard Ceman; sister, Nancy DeBruin, and

brother, Karl Knaack, and Mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carl and Marcella Trochinski.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran

Church, 2550 W. 9th

Church, 2550 W. 9th Ave. in Oshkosh, the Rev. Roger A. Erdman officiating. Inurnment will be in

Oakwood Cemetery in Berlin at a later date. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Friday,

January 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Friends may also visit with

the family at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
