Rafael "Raffy" Ortega Jr.
Rafael “Raffy” Ortega Jr., age 28, of Berlin, died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.
He was born April 14, 1990, in Berlin, the son of Rafael Sr. and Rosa Ortega. Raffy attended Berlin High School. His hobbies were drawing, listening to music and cutting hair.
Raffy is survived by his three children, Dominick Ortega, Joeclyn Aleman and Xavier Aleman; his parents; two sisters, Elizabeth Ortega and Christina Ortega Ramirez; half-brother, Gabino Macias; Goddaughter, Gabriella Melchor; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rafael (MaTrinidad Sanchez) Ortega Calzada and Mateo (Frances) Melchor; and aunt, Maria “Elena” Melchor.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 5, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin.
