Phyllis A. Ottman
Phyllis Ann Ottman, age 84, of Berlin, died peacefully on Monday, March 6, 2023, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah.
She was born July 31, 1938, at home in Omro, the daughter of Paul and Gertrude Appley Edminster. Phyllis was a 1956 graduate of Omro High School. On July 13, 1957, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Ottman in Victoria, Texas. Phyllis worked for Midwest Sport Togs, Medalist Sand Knit, Fabrico, Mutual Savings & Loan and Neuman’s Furniture.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Kenneth Ottman; four daughters, Deb Lohman, Sandy (Ernie) Perron, Lori Edwards and Sheri (Pat) Chappa; seven grandchildren, Cathi Lohman, Beth Lohman, Chris (Lisa) Firnges, Jake Firnges, Shateka (Rodrick) Hall, Megan Chappa and Melissa Chappa; 10 great-grandchildren, Jazlyn, CJ and Aidan Lohman, Ellie, Lucy and Maddie Firnges, Daveon, Deondre and Miona-May Gillespie, and Eryn Chappa; and her twin brother, Phillip (Sharon) Edminster. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Earl Edminster and Harold Edminster; sister, Ruth Stang; and son-in-law, Al Lohman.
