Patrick Timothy Compton, age 68, of Saxeville, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at home in the Township of Saxeville.
He was born January 8, 1956, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Daniel and Grace Schneck Compton. On July 6, 2002, he was united in marriage to Julie Smith at Shephard of the Lakes Lutheran Church in Waupaca.
Pat worked for Milk Specialties in Wautoma as a machine operator, and also at Churney Cheese and Waupaca Pallet Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and being captain of his pontoon boat. Watching the Brewers was a favorite pastime, as well as spending time with family, friends and his dogs.
Ruth E. Schumacher, age 92, of Redgranite, died peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Omro Care Center.
She was born June 12, 1931, in Racine, WI, the daughter of Andrew and Gertrude Schnetter. Ruth was a graduate of Washington Park High School. In her early years, Ruth taught dance in Racine. She and her husband, David, spent nearly 30 years living in Australia before moving to Redgranite.
Doris Grace Tews Sattler, age 92, of Poy Sippi, WI, was called to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 18, 2024, at Harvest Home Assisted Living in Grafton, WI.
She was born May 7, 1931, in Southington, CT, the daughter of Gustav and Martha Sonstrom Tews. Doris was made a child of God through holy baptism at St. Matthias Lutheran Church in New Britain, CT, on June 7, 1931. She was confirmed in the Christian faith at Zion Lutheran Church in Southington on May 20, 1945. Doris grew up with five sisters and loved sharing stories about her childhood.
A gathering of family and friends for Janet Lorraine Piette Rogers, of Redgranite, will be held on Saturday, April 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Barbola-Hempel Funeral Chapel in Poy Sippi.
